This study aimed to examine the quality of work life, happiness at work and the relationships between the quality of work life and happiness at work of nursing instructors in colleges of nursing, Praboromarajchanok Institute. Participants consisted of 152 nurse instructors selected by the multi-stage sampling method. Methods: this descriptive research By A variety of instruments included demographic data sheet, the Quality of work life (TQA) and the Happiness at work (THA) Questionnaires. All instruments were examined for content validity and reliability. The internal reliability of Quality of work life (TQA) and the Happiness at work (THA) were .81 and .95, respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, LSD and Pearsons product moment correlation coefficients.
The results of this as follow:
1. The mean scores of quality of work life as a nurse instructors in colleges of
nursing were at a high level ( =3.85, S.D. =.565) For happiness at work as a nursing instructors in colleges of nursing was at a high level ( =4.20, S.D. =.512).
2. In comparing of personal factors and quality of work life by age, level of
education, the length of work and by average monthly income, there were statistically significant difference (p <.05) in the aspect of adequate and fair compensation .In classification by level of education there was statistically significant difference (p <.05) in aspects of adequate and fair compensation and social integration.
3. In comparison of personal factors to happiness at work .There were no
difference.
4. Relationship of quality of work life and happiness at work found that there
were statistically significant difference (p <.05) between quality of work life in the positive and happiness at work related at high level (r = .763).
